2005 FE REVIEW SESSIONS

Sponsored by ASME

FE-exam is October 29th, 2005

The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is an 8-hour exam with a supplied reference manual containing 99% of the formulas needed during the exam. The exam has 120 1-point questions during the 4-hour morning general exam and 60 2-point questions during the 4-hour afternoon Discipline Specific (DS) exam (unless you choose to take another general exam for the afternoon session). The DS exam is administered in the following five areas: Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, and Mechanical with the General afternoon exam being for all remaining disciplines. The afternoon General exam is mostly and extension of the material covered in the morning general exam, which represents the material covered during the full four years of a B.Sc. degree in Engineering. The afternoon DS exam comprises mostly topics covered during your last 2 years of class work. Most examinees seem to do better in the DS exam.
