The nation of Bazalonia has always been an Island nation, the waterways around it where critical for defense, trade and for the Beach Lifestlye many coastal dwelling Bazalonians enjoy.
However with the recent influx of nations along just North of Bazalonia, Estresse Intenso and Cafundeu. Along with Geisenfried and Milchama who already are over the water neighbours with the Island state.
However the with the new nations the already busy waters along the North of Bazalonia could very well cause problems both eith other nations merchant shipping an various navies that patrol to defend their coasts Bazalonia included will have a rather tough time. So Bazalonia proposes the creation of the Strait Maritime Union and invites the nations of Cafundeu, Estresse Intenso, Milchama and Geisenfriend to participate. to create a common understanding for all users of the strait and procedures so that all legitimate users can operate in safety.
The nations below will be invited to a convention in Drago so that details of the SMU can be worked out providing a framework for proper international coperation over a shared waterway.

The idea of the Maritime Union was well-seen in Cafundéu, as the seaside of the country is considered the key part of the country, where most of its biggest cities are located, as the most visited tourist destinations. So, I'm sending this message in the name of the whole Empire of Cafundéu, agreeing in participating in the convention and showing our interest in being a part of this Union.
I'll assure you that a important member of the Cafundelense government will attend the convention, instead of someone with less influence like me. It's just that I picked the shortest stick in the dispute with my work mates and was chosen this way to write this message. But the convention will be attended by the Empress herself, or by the Head Counsellor, or the Counsellor-Minister of Foreign Issues.
The biggest worry of the Cafundelense government about the strait located in your country's seaside is the fact that the island of Lowrni is located just in the middle of it. And, as everyone knows, the island of Lowrni is the location of the Landau Institute, which occupies the whole place. Who knows if they are kidnapping poor sea travellers and using them in their experiences?
