As I continue to work sporadically on the history that makes ASMV and the Draggonnii Socialist Empire what it is today, I continue to look into the history of the continent now known as Nothandryun. That history would have figured its way into who and what my people have now become at least in some form.

Now remember that this would be truly ancient history that I think we (at least the nations involved in the area, and as many others who would have reason) should build upon.

Starblaydia and I have both RP’d some ancient connection between our peoples. This originally stemmed from the usage of ii (or a double I) in our language. However when building my own history, the timelines did not match up. That means we could either scrap the idea or find another way to make it work. D&S had the idea that perhaps it was a people from before our times that has influenced us - and I like that idea as it leaves a vast uncharted history to create and explore.

One connection could be through Dwarven roots as both of us RP Dwarf populations that would presumably predate both our existences. But that would not be the same type of connection as Dwarven language and such would not account for the similarities.

So. Who was here before ASMV, or Starblaydia, or Maraque, or Vilita? That is a question I want to build an answer for. And yes, Vilita, this could include your history as well with your own usage of the ii and the near proximity of Vilita and Turori to Nothandryun.

What I have done is go back to the name of the continent my people live on. Nothanryun. Noth and Ryun (or Rhyuun in the Vegai tongue). Quite simple and straightforward. The Ryun would have occupied the part of the continent primarily now under the control of ASMV and Maraque while the Noth inhabited mostly what is now known as former Sorthern Northland. Somehow that seems to fit.

I began to really look into the idea during the events following the destruction of Sorthern Northland and the new CCS alliance formed by ASMV and Falcania. And now I throw it open to any and all who wish to contribute. Such an ancient history would not only affect me and it wouldn’t be right for me to simply decide what it all was.

I look forward to your thoughts and ideas and I hope I didn’t ramble to much when throwing this together for everyone to take part.

Although Wight is distant from the Nothandryun continent, I have been planning a 'First Nation' discovery of an ancient people on the Wight landmass, which was Koseli Cumhuriyetler for a while previously. It had been my thinking to write about them for the World Cuppet, as a very secretive indigenous tribe who had more or less disappeared under millenia of brutal oppression by the Turks of Koseli. Now, with the more benign, and somewhat shambolic, administration of Wight, the First Nation of Pre-Koselites would emerge just in time to field a team at the Cuppet. My RP line was (is) to be their backstory. Could they perhaps trace a lineage back to an indigenous people of Nothandryun pre-history, perhaps?

I really do not see a problem with that as ancient peoples could have been very wide spread in a water dominated region such as AO. If the same basic RL peoples could expnd and populate areas from Papua New Guinea to Easter Island (some even say the South American mainland) across the wide expanse of the Pacific...

Would you like some dwarves to have lived in Falcania for forever? Because that would explain our strong mining sector despite having hollow-boned claustrophobes with huge wingspans everywhere.
