The Chacorian elections have ended. However, a problem has emerged: two candidates from opposing parties, the current Premier Felix Gordon and the CFP candidate Ivan Yanois each have an estimated 34% of the vote, with four other candidates each having received at least 5% of the vote. A runoff election has yet to be scheduled, but it is expected to happen soon.

The runoff has been held. The Chacorian Elections Bureau will release the results in 24 hours, but it is widely expected that Yanois won by a clear margin.

The Free Republic congratulates President-elect Ivan Yanois on his victory in the elections, and hopes that this move will draw the disputed nation of Chacor into a more peaceable nation.
