F - Sickly PlagueMouse, Sickly is not a carrier of plague or any other disease he just looks like he does. #34

F - Fievel ChurchMouse, a irrepresibbly bright, positive and perky individual that is always opptimistic little mice who is the mousling of the group but has shown great football talent and may just be the first mouse to get a gig in another nation. #27

M - Charity Fieldmouse, a mouse that accidently got himself trapped on an international trade ship that had gone around half the world. Fievel had managed to get himself back to Miceland and it's this determination that makes him a great midfield mouse. #63

M - Stuart Littlemouse, a mouse that was an orphan who's mother died after giving birth to him and his father had put him up for adoption because he could not cope with the loss of his father. Stuart had never known a decent family until he started licing with the Littlemouses and start to channel his problems into football.

M - Piper FluteMouse, the musician of the team has a knack of coming up with songs that seem to fit the situaition as required. He prefers playing his flute but does sing on the occasion where his flute is missing

M - Input ComputerMouse, the technologist of the team it seems there is not a computer-based device that he cannot operate. oh, and he's also a good midfielder

D - Sightless ThirdMouse, despite being blind from birth Sightless's hearing alwayshas been at the exctent that he did not need his sight to acurrately locate the ball even without a beeper inside.

D - Nibbler FatMouse, Nibbler is slightly plump and generally is always the closest mouse to the goal keeper. Nibbler isn't technically fat but he is certainly not in as good a physical condition as the majority of the team and has the lowest stamina but he can certainly make a couple of really good head on charges and engage an enemy attacker and has the mass to be able to physically check opponents.

D - Angel BalerinaMouse, an ex-Balerina who took up football here Ballerina style, grace and agility make her a perfect defender to be in the right place at the right time to remove the steal the ball from the opposing attackers

D - Reepicheap, the only mouse in the squad that no one knows their last name. "Reep" as he as affeciately known to those who call him Reepochip to his face. Reep has a violent streak, well actually a very strong sense of honour and if he decides that you have dishonoured him then expect some very harsh treatment. This couls come on or of the field but a on-field slight is usually dealt with on field. Though once the slight has been dealt with he doesn't bare a grudge. Unless shifty and underhanded measures are involved to ensure that he cannot get his payback and then the grudge is for his entire lifetime.

K - Pinky WinslowMouse, a slightly weird and near brain dead but his reaction speeds are second to none.

Defenders Beware - The Young'Uns Are In Town!

3rd place at the last Under-21s World Cup - a pretty good achievement, wouldn't you say? Normally, the answer would be yes, and it would be wrong to say that the FAB weren't satisfied, but the consensus of opinion was that not enough goals were scored along the way. After all, the Under-21 game is flourishing in the Blessed Realm, and what better way to encourage interest in Bettia's youth scheme than to score shedloads of goals?

Well, that's the plan anyway. With rumours abounding of a possible professional Under-21 league, this could very well be a very good idea. With even more emphasis on attack whilst paying typically scant regard to defending, you can be sure of goals aplenty in Bettia's matches... but which way will they go?

With many of the previous squad graduating to Bettia's senior squad, the Young'Uns are sporting a new, albeit inexperienced look with no less than 13 uncapped players selected. Many eyes will of course be on Perumnasih's teen sensation Eri Kurniawan, as well as Latif Bettison, son of Baptism of Fire cup winning goalkeeper Amir Bettison, their ever-vocal skipper Barry Scott, and young speedster Sonny Sabitha, whose selection has raised more than a few eyebrows, what with him being only 14 years old.

So come on all you Bettian fans out there, cry out as one - COME ON YOU YOUNG'UNS!!!

Coach: Hurin Menegroth

Hurin Menegroth is a dwarf coach from Starblaydia. This is his first action

coaching a national side, after some successful experience coaching club

teams in Starblaydia. He is a legendary footballer there, having been the

first dwarven captain, first dwarven player of the year, and a winner of the

Liga Starblaydia. We are very proud to have a dwarven coach. We expect that

dwarves and gnomes will blend together beautifully.

Forwards:

#19 - Bub-Rub

Height: 4'11"
Weight: 155 lbs
Club Team: Vertigo Slimes
Age: 29

While Stanleyinho is the star non Az-czzer striker in the -League Bub-Rub is

the star Az-czzer. The contrast of styles between these two players is

suprisingly small considering the physical differences. Bub-Rub is both

stronger and faster than Stanleyinho, which is hard to believe. Like most Az

-Czid athletes he has learned to use his awesome athleticism to make up for

his lack of height. The native danger sense that Az-czzers have makes him

even more dangerous. More so than most Bub-Rub has tuned into this ability,

which allows him to know when to shoot and when to pass so as to avoid

tackles and blockers. This ability allowed him to rise to the top of the

league scoring charts last season with an amazing 38 goals in 30 games. This

included 4 hat tricks, 2 four goal games and 1 unbelievable 5 goal

performance. He showed his touch well in the Baptism of Fire picking up 8

goals there.

#9 - Ox-Rx

Height: 5'5"
Weight: 185 lbs
Club Team: Golem Golems
Age: 29

Seemingly matched with his club Ox-Rx was one of the two strikers on the Az-

czid national team from the Golem Golems. Quite large for an Az-czzer he puts

his size to good use in league player. He is usally able to outmuscle most

players to get to the ball and blast his shots past the keeper. He isn't as

fast as Bub-Rub but his speed is still quite good.

#16 - Lur-Mn

Height: 5'0"
Weight: 133 lbs
Club Team: Asp Vipers
Age: 34

Lur-Mn is the old man of the five forwards who are members of the Az-Cz first

23. His passion and energy make him a great member of the Az-Cz contingent.

He comes from the lowly Asp Vipers, the last place team in the -League last

season. Even this shows his dedication, passion and loyalty. Lur-Mn was

raised an Asp supporter. They brought him through their youth program and he

has shown incredible loyalty to them. He's recieved offers from most of the

other clubs in -League and many foreign clubs as well, but he refuses to

leave the Vipers. He is the absolute captain and idol of that team. He hasn't

missed one mintue of play the last 6 seasons there, be it a league match, a

cup game or even a friendly. Unfortunately for him the Vipers don't have the

resources to compete with the other teams in the league. Lur showed his

skills in Baptism of Fire and World Cup qualifying matches, even winning some

Man of the Match awards. The AOCAF will be his last international

competition.

#21 - J-Nash

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 145 lbs
Club Team: Red Dwarf Rangers
Age: 31

After the five strikers taken to the Baptism of Fire, J-Nash might be the

next best striker in -League. Expect him to earn some time playing in the

AOCAF. Already he has shown his skills by turning in a suprising hat trick in

a friendly against Miceland.

#15 - Zb-Ok

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 145 lbs
Club Team: Cloud Harpies
Age: 32

Zb-Ok definitely has a good skill set. Despite the fact that only one player

from his team made the Baptism of Fire roster, and not even as a starter, the

Harpies are still one of the elite teams in the -League. Zb-Ok's offense is

no small part of that fact.

Midfielders:

#7 - Zax-Im

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 145 lbs
Club Team: Yang Knights
Age: 30

Zax-im is the captain of both the club powerhouse Yang Knights and the Az-Cz

national squad. He is most of the time a defensive midfielder. It is often

his responsibility to mark the other teams best player, especially if that

player is also a midfielder. He has a great persona that the other players on

the team really relate to and is able to rally the team in any situation.

While he is mostly a defending midfielder teams that fall asleep on him on

the offensive end of the pitch can suffer greatly.

#8 - Hubertino

Height: 6'5"
Weight: 200 lbs
Age: 27
Club Team: Yang Knights

While his brother honed his skills as a goal poacher Hubertino learned to

play a much more balanced game. Hubertino is an all-around excellent player.

Hubertino can comfortably play anywhere in the midfield but most of his time

is spent in the defensive half of the midfield. Combined with Zax-im they

give the Yang Knights an incredibly strong defensive midfield, such that some

teams struggle even to get the ball to the back third of the Yang field, much

less scoring. His positioning and stamina makes it seem that he's always in

the right place, whether to make a saving tackle, corrale a looseball, or

recieve a pass.

#12 - Bn-Dg

Height: 5'6"
Weight: 155 lbs
Age: 29
Club Team: Yang Knights

Bn-dg is the most attacking of the starting midfielders. He's got a cannon

shot and a good eye for the goal. He is a midfielder and has decent tackling

and marking abilities, but he is definitely offensive minded. He led the

champions in goals playing from the midfield and there are times when he

functions as almost a third striker. Lying in wait behind Ox-Rx and Bub-Rub

he hopes to be able to net some goals in the AOCAF.

#6 - Sim-Blr

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 145 lbs
Club Team: Red Dwarf Rangers
Age: 38

Sim-Blr has a brilliant eye for analyzing the game. While he doesn't have the

creative spark of a player like Pizelkaxrovsky he is incredibly solid never

making bad passes or getting far out of position. He will be one of the few

players on this team to start without having played in the Baptism of Fire

#10 - If-Wt

Height: 5'5"
Weight: 140 lbs
Age: 33
Club Team: Red Dwarf Rangers

If-Wt, is a starting central midfielder. Having shown his skills when

Pizelkaxrovsky was injured in the Baptism of Fire, he is ready to ascend to a

starting position for the AOCAF tournament. He is one of the older players on

the side and has a good feel for the game. In situations where the team seems

rattled If-Wt will help calm things down and control the game.

#11 - Spr-Nva

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 165 lbs
Club Team: Burlock Jesters
Age: 34

Spr-Nva is one of the best veteran attacking midfielders in the -League.

Although he has been passed by some of the young guns, like Kn-Dg of Yak

Clerics, there is still plenty left in his tank. He has a strong shot and is

a constant threat from the midfield.

#20 - Ans-Ar

Height: 5'2"
Weight: 135 lbs
Club Team: Vertigo Slimes
Age: 36

Ans-Ar is definitely the old man of attacking midfielders. Although his game

is on the downward slide he's still got plenty of speed and energy left. He

also has a good feel for the game due to all his experience.

#17 - Vladimir Kazakov

Height: 6'8"

Kazakov is one of the most physical players in -League. At 6'8" almost no one

in the league can stay up with his height and he has a lot of strength to

back it up as well. While his physicality is his greatest asset he does have

good technique as well, and can often be found feeding his talented forwards.

#5 - Gix-Kril

Gix-Kril is the backup Defensive Midfielder on this team. He has decent

skills but isn't expected to see too much action from behind Zax-Im and

Hubertino.

Defenders:

3 - Ns-Ta

Height: 5'2"
Weight: 125 lbs
Age: 30
Club Team: Vertigo Slimes

Ns-Ta doesn't have the height to control the air but he has the speed and

intellect to control the ground. He can read passes and player movement

incredibly well and always seems to be in the right place to make a tackle or

block a shot. His ability to lock down other teams goal scorers has a great

ability to get under others skins. He led the -League in fouls commited

against this year, for the third year in a row. Just a great defender.

4 - Ml-Dni

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 150 lbs
Age: 31
Club Team: Golem Golems

Ml-Dni is a strong force from the left back. He plays solid defense, to be

sure, but alot of time he can be seen pushing up the field to aid in the

attack. He has a wonderful stamina which helps him get around the pitch. He

also has a wonderful ability to spring counter attacks. If he disposses a

player he often has a cross launched up field well before teams are ready to

defend.

2 - At-Zm

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 150 lbs
Age: 29
Club Team: Yang Knights

At-Zm is the third starting defender. While no one aspect of his game truly

shines like the other defenders he has no weaknesses as well. If a center

back is needed he can play there, if a wing back is needed he can do that and

if necessary he can venture into the midfield as well. He is a solid member

of the team and is certain to see time for the Gnomes.

18 - Dugl-Bugl

Height: 5'4"
Weight: 130 lbs
Age: 28
Club Team: Pagoda Ninjas

Dugl-Bugl is a solid but not overwhelming defender. After seeing only limited

time in the previous tournaments he is expected to see more time in the AOCAF

and hopefully will prove his skills here.

#13 - Ig-Na

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 165 lbs
Club Team: Yang Knights
Age: 28

Ig-Na is the "old man" of the Yang Knights defense, despite only being 28

years old. The rest of that defense is quite young, albeit talented, so he

has a lot of experience as the lynchpins of defense. That means that his

positioning and technique have improved greatly and are quite top notch.

#14 - Rsp-Tn

Height: 5'8"
Weight: 175 lbs
Club Team: Golem Golems
Age: 30

Rsp-Tn is a bit of a crazy player. He can get out of control at times, but he

has an incredible zeal for the ball. He also has great stamina and ability to

recover from attacks. He is very hard to slow down and provides a great

energy for his team.

1 - Dn-Zf

Height: 5'6"
Weight: 150 lbs
Age: 42
Club Team: Burlock Jesters

Dn-Zf is by far the elder statesman of the club. He is disappointed that he

had to wait so long, but he is ecstatic at the chance to be a number one

goalie for Az-Cz in a competitive competition for at least a few games. He is

still a top flight goal keeper and he will fight hard for his country.

22 - Fr-Tld

Height: 5'6"
Weight: 140 lbs
Age: 27
Club Team: Vertigo Slimes

Fr-Tld is the second Az-Czid keeper. He is a solid keeper and has been chosen

for this tournament to get experience. Expect him to alternate with Dn-Zf and

start some games in goal for the Gnomes. He will definitely be the number two

keeper for the next World Cup, so gaining experience is very important.

23 - Sr-Gy

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 165 lbs
Club Team: Red Dwarf Rangers
Age: 36

Sr-Gy is a very talented goalie, almost as good as Fr-Tld. Many people were

suprised that Fr-Tld ended up here as the second goalie instead of Sr-Gy.

Despite being the third goalie, he might see some pitch time.

The formation for the team is 3-5-2

Bub-Rub and Ox-Rx are the starting forwards. Bn-Dg the single attacking midfielder. Sim-Blr and If-Wt in central midfield and Zax-Im and Hubertino in defensive midfield. Ns-Ta, Ml-Dni, and At-Zm are the starting defenders. Dn-Zf is starting goalie. Zax-Im is reprising his role as captain for the AOCAF. Unlike other countries this isn't an A side or a B side, but rather a veteran side. There are many first choice players here.

Myrtannia Dryads of AOCAF XVI

League: Myrtannia Association of Football Clubs (MAFC)
Formation: 5-2-3

Head Coach: Rachell Gabino (32). After being injured against Lamoni in AOCAF XIII, Gabino attempted a comeback in the MAFC with Salahadin City. Two rocky seasons later, Gabino officially announced her retirement as a player, and became the coach at the University of Blackheart. Since then, she's become the mentor of Myrtannia's strikers, upon whom the hopes of the new offense rests. In addition, the MAFC named her the head coach of the Myrtannian national team, after coach America McNany declined the ofer due to pregnancy. She's introduced a high-octane offensive minded approach that is hoped will energize the Dryads in their fourth AOCAF.

Assistant Coaches -

Tocarra Khat (28) - A reserve forward in AOCAF XV, Khat retired from the MAFC early due to a chronic ligament injury in her striking leg. As a close friend of coach Gabino, she's been brought in to help mentor the forwards of the Dryads team, and to help things move along at a satisfactory rate.

Filiberto Nedina (43) - The man who coined the phrase, "Shutting us out is like shooting squid in a barrel.". Started for the Dryads in AOCAFs XIII and XIV, and played an additional two years in MAFC afterward before officially retiring. Now as defense coach, Nedina looks to try and get the Dryads defense to stand up against the opposition, though with the attacking offense, it's difficult to see where that might happen.

Goal Keepers
16. Flo Krabel (31) - Lahar. With two runs of starting in the AOCAF, Krabel is the most experienced player in the back third of the field for the Dryads. She has had both good and bad performances on the pitch, which means she may not start every match in AOCAF XVI. Experts believe she's at the best she's been in her career, showing strong play on the MAFC level. How she'll handle her fourth AOCAF... well, we'll see.

3. Rosario Zlotnik (17) - Blackheart FC. The man who replaced Krabel on Blackheart FC's squad is now in place to succeed her on the Dryads roster as well. Voted newcomer of the year in the MAFC, Zlotnik is the first male player to play goaltender for the Dryads.

Defenders
9. Orpha Mega (27) - Gohanda. Reigning 'Queen of Myrtannian Defense'. Led the defensive effort for the Dryads in AOCAF XIV and XV, and has consistently been the MAFC's premier defender. Is expected to have more freedom on the pitch now that the team is focused on offense.

31. Tamar Ristaino (24) - FC Rajaff. A defender whom Nedina says has 'guts, brains, and a whole lot of bravado'. The MAFC's leader in caps last season, she will be expected to back up Orpha if something goes awry in the back third.

8. Charolette Marrington (27) - Halosen City. The other of the new starters brought in from the MAFC by assitant coach Nedina in AOCAF XV, and who took second place in the league in caps after Ristaino.

5. Amado Ugaitafa (16) - Halosen City
6. Lenny Ditucci (15) - Warfield High School in Mari City
40. Machelle Burzlaff (23) - FC Rajaff

Midfielders
14. Daisey Martignago (29) - Salahadin City. Decidedly the top midfielder on the team, and expected to help out on both sides of the pitch. Could be dangerous if she gets into a corner kick situation. She has had more goals result from her expertly aimed corners than any other midfielder in MAFC history.

4. Iesha Alimo (28) - Damascos. Experienced from AOCAF XV, Alimo returns for a second tour of duty with the orange and blue, trying to improve her performance on a regional level. She provided the few bright spots last season for a dismal Damascos side that suffered its worst record in history due to a lack of defense.

2. Marti Gabeline (18) - Skalatur Athletic
8. Sarita Longknife (16) - Siggurd Jarlson High School in Skalatur

Forwards

7. Dania Figary (28) - Mari City. Named captain of the national team in AOCAF XV, Figary is the only remaining forward on the Dryads roster with experience in all of Myrtannia's AOCAF outings. She's played her best in the knockouts, scoring goals in tough matches, and remains cool and calm on the pitch. With the decision to not select Deeann Massetti for the Dryads roster this time, Figary will be the woman to lead the incredibly offensive-minded Myrtannian team. The Dryads Army hopes she lives up to the hefty expectations placed on her.

65. September Rollock (25) - Blackheart FC. Rollock is perhaps the best forward on the roster behind Figary, and looks to rebound from a marginally dissapointing performance in AOCAF XV. She surprised critics and fans alike last season by leading the MAFC in goal scoring, the first time she's accomplished that feat.

22. Rozalynn Gabino (23) - Halosen United. Younger sister of retired Dryads/MAFC veteran Rachell Gabino, and dubbed the 'future of Myrtannian football'. Gabino cotninued to improve her abilities in the past four years with Halosen United, finishing in the top five in goals scored in each of them. Coach Gabino hopes that her starting experience will translate into success against opponents on an inter-regional scale.

11. Myong Tuman (22) - Vanhaanen - MAFC's Newcomer of the Year four years ago, Tuman has improved her skills well since AOCAF XV. A perrenial all-star in the MAFC, she'll her first starting action in AOCAF XVI as part of coach Gabino's attacking 'blitz' offense.

41. Sabra Nang (20) - Blackheart FC - Nang splashed onto the MAFC scene just after AOCAF XV concluded, and made an immediate impact for the already talented Blackheart FC side. During a crucial match last season against Vanhaanen, Nang single-handedly took away the 0-3 lead the opponents held by scoring four goals in the second half. This ties her with America McNany for the all-time record for most goals scored in a single match during MAFC play.

Nickname: Raptors, meaning the birds of prey, not the dinosaurs

The same team that took second in the Baptism of Fire, followed by a much less successful finish in World Cup XXX qualifying is ready for Aurendia’s first AOCAF. The team may seem young, but that ensures that most of the roster remains intact for future tournaments as we slowly move up the ranks of international football squads. Aurendian football is fast moving football, as all players on the team are very fast and have the stamina to keep running full speed even late in a game. Defensive play is aggressive, with penalties a frequent result, while the offense features lots of sharp and accurate passing, with assists considered just as valuable a stat as goals.
