If the current delegate could please take a look at the Regional Council thread and decide whether to revitalize it, modify it, or scrap it all together... I would be much happier and we could do something about that particular forum.

I have currently been trying to persuade Vilita to hold new elections for the regional council. You are perfectly welcome to try to start them yourself.

You have to do something to make something to elect FOR, I'm not going to just throw up a poll with no clear cut layout of what the vote is for. Sure, a position on regional council, but that doesnt say very much does it.

Which is why I brought up whether or not to scrap the old charter. Neither the AORDO or the Regional Council have a clear cut charter at the moment, do they?

The AORDO thread seems to be more concerned with flags than what the thing will actually do. I suggest Lamoni tries to come up with a a basic outline of how a regional government could function. Though apart from UN stuff and AORDO stuff, I'm not too sure what a Regional Council would really acheive. Perhaps some kind of Governmental Bulletin Board, or a place to discuss... er.. governmental issues that aren't covered by the UN or AORDO??

Okay... here is what we will do (and you are welcome to comment, of course).

The Regional Council will have a representitive from each nation, and will cover all REGIONAL matters that do not fall under the jurisdiction of the UN or AORDO. I shall attempt to draft a charter, but this will take time.
