SEMARLAND AND FARFADILLIS - AOCAF 48 HOST BID
HOST EXPERIENCE
Semarland has not hosted any major cups, but has scorinated many domestic competitions ranging from football to handball, as well as some third-party scorinations on behalf of other users for other tournaments. Whilst this may discourage some voters from supporting this bid – Semarland will be joined by a senior co-host (Farfadillis) as well.
Farfadillis has hosted a variety of football tournaments, including AOCAF Cup 38, Campianato Esportiva 5, Copa Rushmori 16 and Baptism of Fire 54. Farfadillis has prior experience to hosting AOCAF host and his hosting of a WCC-sanctioned tournament is also good proof that he is an experienced co-host.
FORMAT
Once signups close and we have the final number of participants, we will decide our format. Our preferred target of signups is 32 or 16, but we can adapt it to another number if needed.
CUTOFF TIMES
Semarland will cutoff groups from 7PM to 9PM UTC, Farfadillis will cutoff groups 12AM to 2AM UTC. This means a cutoff one day could be at 7PM but the next day be at 8:30 PM UTC, so posting before the earliest time possible would be advised. If you’re lucky, you may be able to find us on IRC (#nssport) so we can give you a more specific time for details.
TIEBREAKERS
Tiebreakers will be as follows: Points (obviously), Head-to-Head, Goal Difference, followed by playoff match (ICly a coin toss)
RP BONUS
The scale we will use is 0-1.5, which will be cumulative.
SCORINATOR
We will be using the latest version of xkoranate (0.3.3) with NSFS formula and xkorante style modifications.
