Some quick notes on the table and fixtures:
1) The sort order for the table is Pts, SOV, SOS, GD, and Rank. The last one is not shown, as it is the actual scorination-used rank, and would reveal more about the RP bonus than a host should show, and SOV/SOS are identical for everyone at the same point level after 1 MD. They will be more useful in later pairings.
2) For these pairings, I started with the 3-point teams, saw there was an odd number, and knocked the lowest one (incidentially, me) down. To pair them, they were sorted with the highest-ranked team at the next point level (Valanora). The same reasoning was used for the Vilita-Cafundeu pairing. The remaining pairings were bracketed high-low within those with the same point levels.

And here is the final table for the Preliminary Phase:
First off, congrats to the teams that will be advancing to the Championship Phase, listed with their quarterfinal seed:
1) Pacitalia
2) Andossa Se Mitrin Vega
3) Audioslavia
4) Kagdazka and Pazhujebu
5) New Montreal States
6) Vilita
Note that I have not included the 7th and 8th teams advancing, because we have a three-way tie on points! As stated earlier on, no team will be eliminated from contention on the basis of any tiebreaker other than head-to-head results. On the basis of head to head results, we have the following results:
-Burchadinger defeated Cafundeu, 2-0
-Nellietopia defeated Burchadinger, 5-4
Thus, only one more match needs to be played to complete the head-to-head cycle, and due to the no-rematch-unless-otherwise-impossible-and-then-only-if-the-first-match-decided-nothing rule (I need a shorter name for that), the only reasonable solution in this case is to complete the mini-round-robin between the three sides level at nine points, and take the top two. As such, there will be one, and only one match on MD6, and it will be:
At Protectorate Road in Tiberia
Cafundeu v. Nellietopia
After this match is completed (no extra time needed), here's how things will be settled:
-Head-to-head points between Burchadinger, Nellie, and Caf will be considered first. This means that if Nellietopia wins (or the two sides draw), they and Burchadinger would advance on H2H points (Nellie with 6 (4 in case of a draw), and Burchadinger with 3, both over Caf with 0 (or 1 if there's a draw)).
-If Cafundeu wins, we end up with a three-way tie, leaving Head-to-Head as insufficient. Thus, we'd turn to the tiebreaker rules to advance one, and let the H2H result left determine who is #8. SoV (as listed above) goes to Cafundeu, advancing them. Since Nellietopia and Burchadinger faced off already, they'd revert to Head-to-Head between just the two of them, meaning that Nellietopia advances.
So, the short of the above:
-If Nellietopia wins, loses, or draws, they advance (just pointing this out before the Nellies blast me for it  ). So they're technically in, but a win/draw means they are seeded #7 instead of #8 in the playoffs.
-If Cafundeu wins, they advance. If they lose or play to a draw, then Burchadinger joins Nellietopia in the final eight.

Some quick awards to hand out; as this is a Casaran-system format phase, we'll be giving out cheese wheels for various feats:
The Parmesan: Given to Ipeland, for having the Hardest Schedule of those not advancing (and, actually, tied with Pacitalia for the highest Strength of Schedule at 49)
The Brie: Two given out; the first to Zarbli for the weakest overall schedule, though with a 1-0-4 record, that's somewhat expected. The second, in the Championship division, goes to Vilita & Turori. Where Pac's opponents averaged a 3-1-1 record, V&T got by with an average opponent rating of just over 2-0-3. But hey, whatever gets you into the Championship Phase, right?
The Cheddar: For the Sharpest climb in the Prelims. Previously unranked Audioslavia gets the honors here, going from the 40s in the overall AO rankings, to entering the Championship Phase in Third.
