Blue Foxes to get new kits
FdFP switches suppliers

TIMIOCATO (PSN) -- Ahead of this year's installment of the AOCAF Cup championship, the tournament's twenty-fourth, Federazione di Futaboli Pacitaliana (FdFP) has announced it has signed a ten-tournament deal with Starblaydi sports kit manufacturer Ediraf. This announcement follows the recent completion of the Federazione's eight-tournament deal with Oliverrian manufacturer OTC.

Ediraf has now been signed to manufacture team kits, workout gear and official shirts for sale in retail stores. The ten-tournament deal will last until at least AOCAF33, unless Pacitalia's football association finally bows to friendly calls from other countries' FAs, who want to see the Blue Foxes compete in the World Cup. Pacitalia's football federation stopped participating in World Cup qualifying after World Cup 22 because it said the tournament was "too political to be healthy competition" and was "taking away from the sport". (The association denied, at that time, that a disastrous 0-3-7 qualifying campaign, in which the Blue Foxes lost half their starters to devastating injuries, was part of the decision to pull out.)

Unlike the contract with OTC, the FdFP were quick to include a renewal clause in their new contract with Ediraf. The renewal clause can only be for an extra five tournaments; after that, the federation must negotiate a new contract with Ediraf if it wishes to continue with the company over the longer term.

"In choosing Ediraf, we have signed a contract with a top-flight manufacturer," FdFP president Ramón Mina remarked. "We are excited that, with Ediraf, we will be able to create a greater global exposure for the team and for our kits. Ediraf is committed to quality and to helping to show off the Blue Foxes and our great new kits to the world."

Ediraf will manufacture the newly redesigned kits in a new breathable hybrid material known as CoolClimate, which absorbs sweat on the interior, transpirates it to the exterior of the material and allows it to dry. Furthermore, the material allows air in, keeping the player at a regulated body temperature even in the muggiest and warmest of matches.

The new kits, as mentioned, will debut for AOCAF24. Pacitalian striker Ambrosino Giurimano and defender Sergio San Cristobál will model the home and away kits to reporters this coming Monday at an introductory press conference, though Ediraf will release the final design by the end of the week.
