| For the past year now, I've been thinking that AO should have our own summer games, but since this is AO and using the term summer/winter games is very generic (and boring) calling it a festival is more original. Plus every olympic games do have the sense of a month long festive appeal to them. Also there is in RL the European Youth Olympic Festival. Just want to genitally put this on the table again. |

| There were, many years ago, two ultimately abortive attempts at a regional Summer Games, and one at a Winter Games (including failed attempts by both myself and LE, who have gone on to host the whole shebang successfully). In all three cases, the term "AOlympics" was used. |

| I forgot to add last night when I posted this, I just want to know that this type of thing would have interest. Not talking about any hosting or anyone doing for for that matter right now. First if there would be enough interest and what would and the appropriate time if anyone here would want to under take it. |
