Sweet Sixteen Set
[03-16-06]

The first round of the Knockout stage has come and gone, and America and the Netherlands took the brunt of the losses, losing 4 of 5 and 3 of 4 games respectively, while Oceania cleaned house winning 6 of 7 in a tournament that no Oceanic team has ever won. Group A went 4 for 4 at group H's expense. A new attendance record was also set. Go check out the records section to see who pulled it off.

Co-host Fort Smith United saw his chances vanish with a red card in the 88th minute, while former champion Strike FC found a player coming off the injured reserve to take out the only Oceanic team that lost in the first round.

The second round features some matchups that normally would be found in the semifinals or even finals while countries that only have 1 team entered seem to be handling their larger counterparts with ease. For those of you in the US, anyone see a parallel to the mid-majors in the NCAA tournament? Power conferences should beware!!

Anyway, a few key games to watch:

Lysterfield Magpies vs. Shagadelic Shagurs
Road Warriors vs. x3wide.com Strike FC
Mehlem Monsters vs. Vimpel

Yuba United Feels Champion's Curse
[02-16-06]

In 4 previous TOC's the champion has never defended his title, and after a strong first game, TOC IV champion Yuba United has a setback for a A team player disqualification.

Many games this round were close, with co-host Fort Smith United having to go to PK's to get their first points and Vimpel going into Extra Time to secure a 5-4 win over szuckos.

Strike had a 5-0 victory at home after being booted from the US cup, while Panamian team Cerro Viento FC got booted from the cup in PK, and will be joining the TOC this week.

While the Hattrick Masters stops all cup play next week, the TOC continues on.

TOC V Kicks Off
[02-09-06]

The 5th incarnation of the Trans-Oceanic Cup started off with some reversal of furtunes as Doctor Evil FINALLY got the monkey off his back, breaking the 5 game losing streak while it was a bad day for the co-hosts. josh_sec33's Fort Smith United lost 5-0 in Misr, while x3wide lost his cup match...no cup, no points in the TOC.

Meanwhile, Yuba United kicked off its title defense with a 2-1 victory, but at the cost of a 6 week injury.

The Ocenaic teams showed strong with only 2 losses of their 8 matches.

Best game last week: Sunnyslope FC's 5-4 victory in the 82nd minute

Games to watch in week 2:

Metro Town (94494) vs Road Warriors (77313)
Why… (460705) vs Full of Flair XI (417809)

TOC V Ready To Kick Off
[01-31-06]

Defending champions Yuba United will begin their title defense at home against their North American counterparts, the North West Nomads. While the name is new the players may be familiar to some TOC competitors as North West competed last season under the Calgary Canucks banner.

The Shagadelic Shaguars will look to avoid a place in the TOC record books by shaking off a string of defeats when they host USA's RDX in round one. The most dissapointing team in TOC IV will be back looking for revenge.

Many familiar faces will clash with many newcomers to the competition, and a full listing of groups and fixtures is now posted under the groups tab at the top of the page.

Good Luck to all competitors!

Yuba United Vs. Road Warriors
[12-14-05]

It was a semifinal round that showed two contrasting styles of victory to get to the final of TOCIV. Home field advantage in this round was anything but, as both hosts fell to the visitors.

The Semifinals opened up with Yuba united taking on Raggamuffins. Raggamuffins took an early 1-0 lead, but couldn't hold the lead as two second half goals in 5 minutes gave Yuba United a ticket into the finals.

The other semifinal match showed a game of sheer dominance as Road Warrirs put up 4 goals in a 7 minute span early in the first half, and then tacked on 2 more in the second to defeat Dumle Rams 6-1.

The final match will be held in The Scott Parker Memorial Stadium, home to the Irish Addicts who won the vote to host the title match, while the 3rd place game will be held in Silver Flame Arena, home of the Strike Birds of Fort Smith United, who came in second.

Road Warriors enter this match as a 5 to 1 favorite in voting according to the poll on this page. Can they finally bring the cup home to Oceania, or will Yuba keep it in the US for one more season? Stay tuned!

Final Four is Set
[12-10-05]

The Quarterfinals of the TOC had two domestic matches, and two international games that gave us our final four.

Road Warriors opened up a can on Southern Diamond Backs with a 9-0 win to determine which Oceanic team moves on. Will the Warriors finally bring the cup to Oceania? Time will tell. They are on the road visiting Dumle Rams who came back from a 1-3 deficit to send one of the three American teams home 6-3.

This match should give good insight into the final as Road Warriors is the hands down favorite to win the cup of the four remaining teams. Dumle's going to have to show the disbelievers that they are here for real.

On the other side of the bracket, two close games riveted the fans. Raggamuffins continued their tear through the bracket, winning an overtime victory over early favorite HabsQ. Despite numerous injuries, Raggamuffins's team somehow got the ball past the line to move them into the semis. Raggamuffins will host upset winner Yuba United, who dethroned defending champion x3wide.com Strike FC 3-2. Each time United got a lead, Strike equalized within minutes, the winner came after Strike fell into a bit of disorganization.

Vote now to determine who hosts the final match! Poll on the left side of the page.

Quarterfinalists Move On.
[11-30-05]

The Round of 16 did not dissapoint as teams who were tapped early in the tournament to do well progress, while three games ended up as nailbiters.

The first game of the round was a fairly easy time for 3wide.com Strike FC as two players both scored 2 goals each in a 6-2 romp over Kickers Emden.

The focus turned to Oceania and two one goal games seeing The Magpies falling to the Rams of Dumle 3-2, while the Southern Diamond backs defended their home pitch 5-4 over Vesta. Road Warriors became the second Oceania team to make the Quarters with a 4 goal win in France.

HabsQ carried the honor of Indonesia with a shutout victory over Sporting Dushku. After that game was over, only 3 nightcaps in the States were left, and none disappointed. After falling down 2-0 to FC Energie Cruces, Ciro Caimi powered Raggamuffins into the quarters with a 4-2 win. The striders of rivendell had an easier time, scoring three unanswered goals in a 3-1 win over Buratinos.

Finally, the game of the round, Yuba United vs. Irish Addicts. Yuba was up 3-0 at halftime, with a two goal flurry in stoppage time. However, the Irish weren't about to cross the Atlantic and roll over, scoring three to tie it up. Former TOC Golden Boot winner Sebastian Pavel scored a go ahead goal, to see it equalized the next minute. And thus the first over time game of the round begin, but lasted only 3 minutes as Oren Gibbons scored his hattrick in the 3rd minute of ET, giving Yuba a 5-4 win. Also, new polls up!

Les Frenchouillards were voted as the most surprising team so far.

Knockout Stage: Round 1
[11-24-05]

The Stage was set as the 48 teams were cut down to 32, and the single elimination knockout stage began.

Round 1 kicked off at the Niederglucksbach Arena where underdogs Niederglucksbach hosted the team with the best record in the group stage, German rivals Kickers Emden. Emden missed multiple chances early before it was the home side who opened up to a surprising 2-0 lead. The first upset of the knockout stage was all but written when the sleeping giant was finally awoken. Emden responded with 2 goals in the final five minutes of regular time, and would eventually advance 4-3 on penalty kicks to the next stage.

Niederglucksbach 2 - 2 Kickers Emden (3-4 APK)

Fresh off their win, the Emden players quickly turned their attention to another domestic derby, with American newcomers Æthelmearc AC looking to send defending TOC Champions 3wide.com Strike FC home early for the first time. Those looking for traditional central attacks would not have been advised to visit the Cactus Arena in Egypt, where the teams had agreed to play on Neutral Ground, as both squads boasted a plethora of Wingers, playing in various positions from Winger, to Defender, and even as forwards. Æthelmearc seemed to have the edge in the first half, but each time they scored, Strike replied almost immediately, and the stage was set for a classic second half duel with the score deadlocked at 2-2. Æthelmearc AC fans were ready to celebrate leading 3-2 with 20 minutes to play, but it was Strike legend Marijan Marelja who netted a rare goal to spur a quick fire 2 minutes, before Yves Gadois struck home the winner to book Strike's tickets to Germany and a matchup with Kickers Emden in the next round.

Æthelmearc AC 3 - 4 3wide.com Strike FC

A Clash of Trans Oceanic Cup Titans was on the cards at Emerica Park in Slovenia where TOC I Champions Besnica Utd. hosted Road Warriors, seasonal favorites to take the cup back to Oceania who have yet to succeed. Focusing on their defense, Besnica attempted to work a Counter Attack, but their midfielders held up the ball too much and were eventually run down by their opposition. Philippe Rousseau sealed the win for Road Warriors before being sent off late in the match.

Besnica Utd. 0 - 2 Road Warriors

Szuckos looked to make it an all Oceania clash in Round 2 with Road Warriors awaiting the winner from Les Frenchouillards Arena in France, and got off to the right start when Eelse Kok netted the opener on 16 minutes. However, the inexperienced 18 year old received a straight red card just 7 minutes later, forcing Szuckos to finish the match with just 10 men. Les Frenchouillards began to dominate the play, although Szuckos held a 2-1 lead at the half. The second half belonged to the french side who easily netted a trio of goals to take a medium sized upset but deserved win to advance.

Les Frenchouillards 4 - 2 Szuckos

After receiving their spot in the knockout stage only on a technicality after one of the teams in their group was found to have been in breach of one of the competition rules, the Lysterfield Magpies made amends for their mediocre group stage performance. After a history of self promotion off the pitch, Chris Arkless proved he had some skills when it came time to do the job as well, with a natural second half hattrick adding to his 25th minute strike as the Magpies dominated their fellow Oceanian counterparts, who only created one real scoring chance during the match.

Lysterfield Magpies 6 - 0 The Hills

Tournament Co-Hosts Fort Smith United travelled to Denmark where they would square off with the impressive Dumle Rams for the rights to travel to Oceania for the 2nd round and face the Magpies. The Rams opened up to an early lead through Lasse Andersson and Matthias Guggisberg, but Mirko Sechi reduced the deficit for the American team. Some may say that a late first half injury to Ricky Nyerberg served only to solidify Dumle's attack, which opened it's doors in the second half, rounding out a six goal performance to send Fort Smith United packing.

Dumle Rams 6 - 1 Fort Smith United

HabsQ needed little boost, but got it anyway from their home support after fielding a Star-Studded lineup against the ELSA-MKT reserve squad in Indonesia. Although it looked bleak for the Romanians after an early goal by HabsQ's David Gillebaard, things were looking up when Javier Zalbidea was given his second yellow card just 22 minutes into the match, and again a minute later when Romanian backup keeper Petre Papuc made a stunning block off a shot from HabsQ's own Romanian prospet Liviu Arsene. The hope was short lived, however, as HabsQ quickly regrouped to net four more, with keeper Octavian Iordache having little to do in the win that clinched HabsQ a place in the second round.

HabsQ 5 - 0 ELSA-MKT

The prize for HabsQ in Round 2? A date with defending TOC Runners Up, Full of Flair X1, or so it seemed. Out matched in history and on paper, Sporting Dushku would have it all to do if they were going to advance in front of their home town fans. Thom Koppelaar put the fans on their feet when he gave Dushku a shock 1-0 lead in the first half. From that point on the home side were on their back heels fighting off the charges of their opposition, and somehow Full of Flair just could not find the back of the net, with a shock first round exit in Holland.

Sporting Dushku 1 - 0 Full of Flair X1

Something happened in Bandung Indonesia, where Why... were hosting the Irish Addicks in front of 4437 spectators. It seemed almost as if time stood still, and in the middle of the match someone decided to open a shooting clinic. After half an hour with neither team really breaking through, it was Why's Lin Zi who started a quick succession of goals, and just 4 minutes after Lin Zi opened the scoring, both teams found themselves with two goals. Much like the opening half hour, a fairly uneventful match, bar those four minutes, resumed until Lee Crowley broke through just five minutes from time to secure the win for the visiting team from Ireland.

Why... 2 - 3 Irish Addicks

With a place in the second round and a matchup against the Irish Addicks at stake, 3,390 fans showed up at the Olimpico in Rome.. -ania as AS ROMAnia played host to the in form Yuba United. Pavel Popa gave the home side a dream start scoring quickly, but from that moment on it was all Yuba as another Pavel and his partner in crime Jorg van den Blitterswijk stole the show as Yuba ran out easy 6-1 winners to secure a home match in round 2.

AS ROMAnia 1 - 6 Yuba United

Despite the Heavy Rains, Raggamuffins were looking strong on the wing early in their match against Snowone FC in Portugal, netting twice inside 21 minutes to take an early 2-0 on the road to round 2. However, Snowone fought back to bring the scoreline to 2-2 at halftime. Both teams had chances to seal the game in the second half, but neither could come through and extra time had to be played. It looked destined for Penalty Kicks until Raggamuffins Jim Pasiut made amends for an earlier miss in extra time, sending his side through to the next round.

Snowone FC 2 - 3 Raggamuffins

The fans at the Goooooooal! Bowl got exactly what one would expect at such an arena. Despite being outplayed for much of the game, FC Energie Crucies knew how to use the atmosphere of the Bowl to their advantage, jumping out to a 2-0 lead at the half. Fairy Falcons saw too much of the ball to be denied, however, and quickly struck back in the second half to level the scores. The teams traded the lead once more, and the match required extra time. Unfortunately for the fans, the Bowl seemed to be flushed of all its goals as Extra Time came to a rather uneventful end. Unfortunately for the Falcons, once again their inability to cope with the wonder that is the Gooooooal! Bowl once again shone through, as only Arupaeo Carlyle could convet his penalty for the visitors, and the home side was near-spot on for the 3-1 Penalty Victory

FC Energie Cruces 3-3 Fairy Falcons (3-1 APK)

The home crowd at the Metro Town-Vesta matchup were left in shock as they watched their team go down 0-2 at half time entirely against the run of play, as their beloved Metro Town dominated the first half performance, only to be penalized on the counter attack, and by a late corner kick in first half stoppage time. As the players returned to the pitch the fans were expecting to see goals, but once again it was Vesta who struck for 0-3. Finally it was the last half hour that saw Metro Town regain their composure, but it was too little too late as they fell 3-2 and Vesta advanced to play the Southern Diamond Backs in Round 2.

Metro Town 2 - 3 Vesta

4,463 fans were on hand at the Komorka Papy Karlo in Ukraine as Buratinos hosted TOC II Champions Highlanders FC. After a late start to the competition, Buratinos snuck in to the knockout stage on the final day and if anyone was capable of upsetting a higher seeded team it was them. After holding to 1-1 at half time, Buratinos began controlling the play in the second half before goals from Luka Majerović and Maximilian Pop sealed another early trip home for a past TOC Champion, following in the footsteps of Besnica Utd. who were eliminated by Road Warriors. Buratinos will host Rivendell Striders in round 2.

Buratinos 3 - 1 Highlanders FC

Round 5 Wrap Up
[11-24-05]

Round 5 Wrap Up as seen by Mircea::

Group 1:

Everything was more or less settled, so games were played really relaxed.

C.A. Telefunque 4 Highlanders FC 3

This was a bit strange, as Highlanders had the possesion but they lost. That is only too bad, as it did not mean Telefunque went through. Very nice attendace though.

Cruces lost at home (2-4) after a very tough game where Dumle recovered from 0-2. This decided just the following fixtures, as they cruised through, together with Full of Flair, that won against Varestrop also 2-4, perhaps beacuse of the focus the home team gives to the League games. A brace scored by Dumitru helped the leaders win this game and seal this 3-5-2 group.

Second group was decided in the last games, where ELSA-MKT was trashed 8-1 due to the weak team they (I, actually) have and the expulsion of the only forward lined up for this game. We note the four goals scored by Zygadlo. Lyserfield drawed hoe against Snow, and those four teams went through, as the last game was awarded to FC De Rode. This was till the end the crazy group, and everyone I think enjoyed all the games here.

Group 3 noted a surprise win by Southern, as they were one man
(midfielder) down but still won possesion even if they played pressing! Nice but strange game that did not count though in the end. 3wide won away at Gianstars in another game with a lot of goals, but with no major scorer. French went through even if they lost 0-3 at home to Irish, with all the defence they tried to field, playing 5-3-2. They sacrificed possesion, that went al the way down to 20%.

The upper half of is concluded with the fourth group, where the first game was played between a keeper trainer (Road Warriors) playing 4-4-2 and a forward one (the finish Rastaantje) with a classical 3-4-3, but Road won away 3-0. Calgary lost their game (and qualification) against Kickers in another tactical battle, where they tried to close the centre of the field (very closed 4-5-1) but the home team's offensive tactics (3-4-3) prevailed helping them get a 3-0 win with Dumitru scoring twice. The other game fielded two teams that went through eventually, AS ROMAnia losing 2-3 after a game that had everything: expulsion, come-backs, over-time and golden goal. Very interesting possesion change during the two halfs of the game, perhaps influenced by the over time and the weather.

Thanks again to Mircea to helping out with Round 5

Week 4 Round Up
[11-10-05]

Week 4 of 5 has come and gone as TOC IV teams now begin to square up their knockout stage opposition, with just one matchday remaining in qualifying.

Group 1 saw a clash of titans in Victoria as the Full of Flair XI hosted in-form Dumle Rams. After a narrow defeat to group leaders Highlanders FC, Full of Flair was just too much for the Rams as a pair of goals in the second half sealed the 3-1 victory for the TOC III finalists. Meanwhile, FC Energie Cruces travelled to Peru in a crucial must win match for C.A. Telefunque. It was not to be though, as Hector Gilchrist's first half double secured the three points and a place in the knockout stage for Cruces, sealing up the top 4 in Group 1.

If Group 1 is sealed up, then Group 2 is anything but. Snowone FC recorded a vital victory over FC de Rode Lantaarn to sit 5th in the table. However, with GDM SC recording victory over the Magpies, 5th placed sits within striking range to top the table following Matchday 5. Snowone FC will need to overcome the mighty Magpies if they are to qualify for the knockout stage in a group where no team has been eliminated, nor confirmed into the knockout stage at this point. ELSA-MKT simply has to show up to claim their place in the Knockout Stage, however, if they do not it could open the door for one of the teams on the outside looking in.

With the top 4 long secured, Group 3 competitors were playing for bragging rights and, of course, the group title. Southern Diamond Backs added another 6 goals to their impressive tally bringing it to a Cup-Leading 21 for the first four matches, leaving the top 3 teams level on 9 points, and defending TOC Champions 3wide.com Strike FC close behind on 6, but suffering on goal differential.

The Calgary Canucks grabbed the all important Bonus Point in extra time against Vesta, keeping them in the top 4 as the knockout stage nears. In a hard fought battle, the Canucks grabbed the 3-2 win, but now must travel to group leading Kickers Emden, while Vesta will be looking to topple AS ROMAnia and steal the 4th and final qualifying position.

Despite vowing to regain some dignity before the end of TOC IV, the Shagadelic Shaguars looked like doing nothing of the sort falling to yet another defeat, this time at the hands of unbeaten Yuba United. Spruit FC, who had gotten off to a good start in the competition now find themselves fending off Niederglucksbach in hopes of defending the 4th and final qualifying place into the knockout stage. Defeat at the hands of Besnica United forces the Belgian team to get the job done against leaders Yuba United, or hope that the Shaguars will finally get their first points of the campaign as they visit Niederglucksbach.

De Voeten recorded a crucial 4-1 victory over The Bohemians in Group 6 to open up a 3 point advantage over their opposition in the race to make the knockout stage. De Voeten and Why... currently sit in 3rd and 4th on 6 points, while The Bohemians and Groningen Lions are in striking distance on 3 points. The Bohemians will travel to Why... in a must win spectacle, and they will be facing an uphill battle with 9 goals difference to overcome, while Groningen Lions will also need to pull something out of the hat has thy square off against Æthelmearc AC.

Despite recording their first victory of the campaign, KicKe Kickers were eliminated from competition in Group 7, sitting 4 points behind the 4th placed teamafter HabsQ recorded victory over the Raggamuffins. Group leaders The Hills will travel to Panama to face Cerro Viento FC with hopes of locking up the top spot in the table.

Fairy Falcons overtook Fort Smith United atop the Group 8 standings after a 2-0 victory at the Silver Flame arena that saw Fort Smith's star striker Alejandro Parapertusa helped off the field in pain. Buratinos recorded a convincing 3-0 victory over Real Valmiera to pull themself within a single point of 4th placed ChaozKickerz. Buratinos can secure a place in the top 4 should they beat Sporting Dushku in normal time on Matchday 5, while Real Valmiera will host leaders Fairy Falcons knowing they need at least a point and some help to get a place in the knockout stage.

For the third consecutive week, The Scott Parker Memorial Stadium was the most packed stadium in the TOC, while the fans are also beginning to flock to the Burger Bowl to follow Yuba United's impressive start to the campaign.

Two new polls have been posted on the TOC Polls page where teams can vote on which teams they think have been the most Surprising, and Dissapointing, so far in TOC IV.

Week 3 Round-Up
[11-02-05]

The Dumle Rams may have started a week behind most teams in this seasons Trans Oceanic Cup, but they have made quick work in making their presence known, moving into the co-lead in both Most Goals Scored and Fewest Goals Against in the group stage after a record setting 10-1 thrashing of C.A. Telefunque. The win sees the Rams move into second in Group 1 behind Highlanders FC, who may be counting their blessings that they will be the only team in Group 1 to not face the Rams before the knockout stage begins.

Group 3 is looking like a four-horse race with the top 4 level on 6 points and looking certain to leave Gianstars and De Zuiderparkers in the dust. Group Leaders Southern Diamond Backs sufferred their first defeat of the campaign in the USA at the hands of defending champions 3wide.com Strike FC, while the Irish Addicks and Les Frenchouillards made easy work of the groups bottom two teams.

The Shagadelic Shaguars failed to score any points for the third consecutive match, but the rest of Group 5 is proving to be one of the tightest in the cup with both remaining matches requiring extra time, with leaders Yuba United taking the bonus point from inagural TOC champions Besnica United, pushing the Trinidad & Tobago U20 International manager's side on the brink of elimination, holding their place in the top four only on goal differential.

For the second consecutive week, The Scott Parker Memorial Stadium attracted the most onlookers as the Irish Addicks recorded a 6-1 victory over De Zuiderparkers, where De Zuiderparkers' Guillermo Poch received his marching orders for a remarkable 2nd time in just three games so far in TOC IV.

TOC III Runners-Up Full of Flair XI led both the Stars and Hatstats ratings, as well as being honored for their 9 match winning streak in TOC III on the newly updated Records page.

Week 2 Round Up
[10-27-05]

After a first round that saw many high scoring matches, few would have believed the biggest scorelines in week 2 would be five goal differences. But that was the case starting off in Group 1 where newcomers Värestorp FF hosted the Dumle Rams. The Rams held little mercy on their swedish opposition and quickly jumped out into the lead, never looking back, leapfrogging them to third in the group despite having played just one game.

Gianstars got an important bonus point against De Zuiderparkers after an exciting 3-3 draw to move just one point out of 2nd, and 4th, in Group 3. Despite a losing result, the Southern Diamond Backs maintain their perfect record and spot atop the table due to a rules infraction by the Irish Addicks.

AS ROMania maintained the lead in Group 4 as TOC giants Road Warriors were upset at the Hairy Back Gorilla Shack by a 31st minute goal from Kickers Emden's Boris Kozyrev. For the first 10 minutes it appeared that the Shagadelic Shaguars would have their first points of the cup, then Spruit FC decided they had other ideas and ran out 3-1 winners to settle in a shock group 5 standing ahead of TOC Veterans Besnica Utd., Metro Town and the Shagadelic Shaguars.

Despite the rules infraction, Irish Addicks took the lead in the Attendance charts attracting over 4900 visitors to the stands for the crucial matchup against the Southern Diamond Backs.

Round 1 Complete
[10-19-05]

Round 1 of the 4th Trans Oceanic Cup has now been completed! After a few early walkovers, and three teams still left in their national cups, it was a grim outlook. However once the matches started up the excitement of the TOC was back in full stride.

Road Warriors and Oceania U-20 keeper Anakin Anagold were held at halftime by newcomers Calgary Canucks in Calgary, but the TOC Veterans held strong to come out with a 2-0 win and the first three points on the way to what they will hope is their first TOC title, and a first for Oceania. Defending finalists Full of Flair XI will also be after Oceania's first TOC title, flexing their muscle with a 6-1 victory away at FC Energie Cruces, the only match in Group 1.

The new faces in Group 3 were given a very rude welcoming, with Les Frenchouillards being thrashed 9-0 by Oceania's Southern Diamond Backs in the most lopsided result of the round, while defending champion 3wide.com Strike FC and Irish Addicks followed close behind with 7 and 5 goal victories respectively.

Fort Smith United, Szuckos and TOC underdogs Metro Town all were victorious in extra time, earning an additional point in the standings, which are now updated on the Groups page.

The Stats page has also been opened, with attendance statistics from this weeks first round matches.

Groups Drawn
[10-13-05]

The Groups for the Trans-Oceanic Cup IV have been drawn and the full group stage fixtures are now available. Defending champions Strike FC will look to continue their TOC unbeaten run against dutch side De Zuiderparkers, while TOC III runners up Full of Flair XI will also be playing stateside when they visit FC Energie Cruces. TOC IV's final entrant, from Calgary in Canada will be looking to hand Road Warriors a proper Canadian welcome when the seasonal favorites travel accross the equator and then some to begin yet another attempt at TOC glory.

TOC I champions Besnica United are favored in a competitive group 5 that sees TOC regulars Metro Town and Shagadelic Shaguars set to square off once again with Mr. TOC Sebastian Pavel who looks to defend his scoring title for American side Yuba United. Both Buratinos and Cerro Viento FC of Group 8 are still in their National Cups, but luckily the two are scheduled to play each other in week one, so we wish them the best this week and look forward to their return to the TOC next week.
